1. About caKao
caKao is designed for entertainment, motivation and self-reflection. Features such as GlowScore, HealthScore, calorie estimates, meal analysis, movement tracking, smart hints and other AI-generated content are intended for personal wellness use only.
2. Acceptance of Terms
You must be at least 13 years old to use caKao. If you are under the age of majority where you live, parent or guardian consent may be required. By downloading, accessing or using caKao, you agree to these Terms and to future updates published by caKao.
3. Your Account
caKao uses Apple or Google sign-in. You may be asked for profile details such as age, gender and optional information used to personalize the experience. You are responsible for activity on your account and for protecting your sign-in credentials.

4. How caKao Works
GlowScore
Daily check-ins may include mood, stress, sleep, notes and optional fields such as skin, hair, cycle or appearance. caKao may use these inputs to generate a GlowScore, smart hint and short shareable tagline.
Moves
You can log workouts and activity manually, and caKao may estimate calories burned based on activity type, duration and your profile. With permission, caKao can also read selected movement data from Apple Health on iPhone or Android Connect on Android.
Meals
You can scan a meal photo or describe food in text. caKao may estimate calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat and a nutritional HealthScore.
AI providers
caKao uses internally developed AI models and may also use services from OpenAI and Anthropic to generate certain check-in, meal and exercise outputs. Relevant text or images may be processed by those providers on caKao’s behalf under their applicable enterprise data terms.
Meal photos
Meal photos are retained with meal history for a limited period and then automatically deleted. Text analysis results such as calorie estimates, macros, HealthScore and descriptions may remain with your meal history while your account is active. You can delete meal entries manually in the app.
Apple Health and Android Connect
Health integrations are optional and require explicit device permission. caKao reads only selected activity information: active calorie burn, workout duration and step count.
- caKao does not read heart rate, blood pressure, sleep tracking, weight, body measurements, glucose, cycle data or other metrics not specifically listed.
- The integration is read-only. caKao does not write information back to Apple Health or Android Connect.
- You can revoke access at any time in device settings.
Safety features
caKao may automatically detect content suggesting a crisis, self-harm, harm to others or other extreme situations. In those cases, normal scores or taglines may be withheld and the app may instead encourage the user to seek appropriate professional or emergency support.
Estimates and accuracy
GlowScore, HealthScore, calorie estimates, macronutrient values, activity intensity and other calculated outputs are estimates. They may be wrong, sometimes significantly, and should not be used for medical treatment, medication decisions, prescribed diets or other situations where precise accuracy is required.
Your conduct
You agree not to misuse caKao. Prohibited conduct includes unlawful use, uploading content you do not have rights to share, uploading images of other people without appropriate consent, hacking or disrupting the service, scraping or automated access without written permission, reverse engineering, or impersonating another person.
5. Your Data
caKao may collect information from check-ins, Meals, Moves, selected Apple Health or Android Connect data, profile information and limited technical information needed to operate the app.
That information is used to provide caKao features, improve reliability and functionality, maintain safety and comply with legal obligations.

Account deletion
You can delete your account through the app settings. Personal information will be deleted according to caKao’s Privacy Policy and applicable law, subject to limited retention where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention or backup purposes.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
caKao offers free access and may offer a premium tier known as caKaoPRO. Premium features may include expanded personalization, additional meal scans, broader language support or other features added over time.
Payments are handled through Apple’s in-app purchase system on iOS and Google Play billing on Android. caKao does not store your payment card details.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Apple or Google refund policies apply to purchases made through their respective stores. If subscription pricing changes, caKao will provide notice before the new price applies to a renewal.
7. Intellectual Property
caKao’s name, logo, visual design, software, content, AI prompts and proprietary concepts, including GlowScore and HealthScore, belong to caKao Inc. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Features designed for sharing may be used for personal, non-commercial purposes as intended. Other copying, modification, distribution, reverse engineering or derivative use requires written permission.
8. Termination
caKao may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service or create safety or security risks. Features or the service itself may also be changed or discontinued. You may stop using caKao or delete your account at any time.
9. Disclaimers
caKao is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The service may be interrupted, contain errors or produce inaccurate or unexpected AI-generated results. In particular, calorie estimates, macronutrient breakdowns, HealthScore values and exercise-calorie estimates can be materially inaccurate.
caKao is not warranted or represented as suitable for medical, psychological, nutritional, dietary or fitness diagnosis or treatment.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, caKao Inc. limits liability for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages related to use of the service. Where legally permitted, total liability for a claim is limited to the amount paid to caKao during the 12 months before the claim or US$100, whichever is lower. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by Singapore law. Disputes are intended to be resolved through individual binding arbitration in Singapore under the Singapore International Arbitration Centre rules, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your jurisdiction.
12. General Terms
These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement between you and caKao regarding the service. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without permission. caKao may transfer its rights as part of a merger, acquisition or similar business transaction. The English-language version controls if a translation conflicts with it.
